Water sky

‘Water sky’ si riferisce alle striature scure sul lato inferiore dei nubi basse, che indica la presenza di acqua aperta in prossimità del ghiaccio marino (sotto le nuvole). Cielo di colore neutro vicino all’orizzonte è causato dal riflesso del colore del mare. Si tratta di un’indicazione utile quando si lavora in ghiaccio marino o in prossimità della calotta polare, water sky può assistere i viaggiatori e in navigazione nelle zone polari.
