Flydende metode
En indirekte metode til måling af en gennemstrømingne av vand i en flod (en strækmetode). En enkel metode, der ikke kræver brug af kompliceret måleudstyr. Måling foretages ved at måle den tid, det tager en flydende genstand at rejse en bestemt afstand nedstrøms. Metoden bruges kun til en grov estimering af vandgennemstrømningen på grund af det høje niveau af unøjagtighed af resultaterne.
