Zackenberg Station

Zackenberg Station, also known as ZERO – Zackenberg Ecological Research Operations is situated in Northwest Greenland (in Zackenberg valley).

It was officially open in 1997. This seasonal facility is owned by government of Greenland and run by Aarhus University. It hosts 10 scientists, and is dedicated to ecosystem research and monitoring.
