L’orizzonte degli eventi di un buco nero è collegato alla velocità di fuga dell’oggetto – la velocità che si dovrebbe superare per sfuggire all’attrazione gravitazionale del buco nero. Più si avvicinava qualcuno a un buco nero, maggiore era la velocità di cui avrebbero avuto bisogno per sfuggire a quella enorme gravità.
