La Atazione Artico si trova sulla costa meridionale dell’Isola di Disko, nel centro della Groenlandia occidentale.
È stata fondata nel 1906 ed è ora di proprietà dell’Università di Copenaghen.
Organizza la ricerca ambientale (compresa la ricerca sui fenomeni periglaciali, ecc.) e le attività educative (campi di biologia, ecc.).
Può ospitare 26 persone.
