En botn (engelsk: cirque) er en spesiell form for u-dal. U-daler har bred bunn og bratte sider opp mot omkringliggende fjell. De er dannet av erosjon fra isbre. En botn er et avrundet parti som ligger som et høyt hengende amfiteater i fjellsiden.
