Grupi i gjuhëve nga familja Eskimo-Aleut, flitet nga njerëzit vendas që jetojnë në zonat arktike dhe subarktike. Këto janë territoret veriore që i përkasin katër vendeve: Kanadaja, SHBA (Alaska), Rusia (gadishulli Chukchi), Danimarka (Grenlandë). Gjuhët Inuit përfshijnë: Inupiaq, Inuwialuktun, Inuktitut dhe gjuha grenlandeze.
