Global Conveyor Belt – How does it work?
Currents are cohesive streams of seawater that circulate through the ocean. Oceanic circulation inluences climate patterns, weather, landscapes. It has a large impact on our lives. Constantly moving system of deep-ocean circulation driven by temperature and salinity is called GLOBAL CONVEYOR BELT.
How does it look like in miniature?
You can easily recreate this phenomenon in classroom or at home with this experiment. No special equipment necessary.
