Det grønlandske sprog hører til gruppen af inuit sprog og tales i Grønland. Det har tre dialekter, der tales i nord (Avanersuaq), øst (Tunu) og vest for øen (Kitaa). Det er et polyetisk sprog (grænsen mellem de separate ord og sætningen er ikke særlig klar) og agglutinativ (sætningen er bygget ved at tilføje forskellige formativer til ordet).
