Karst kilde
En karst kilde, der stammer fra karstificeret kalksten.
Punkt, hvor en underjordisk strøm når overfladen, hvis strømmen ikke har nogen kendt overfladevand.
Types of karst spring:
- EXSURGENCE – point at which an underground stream reaches the surface if stream has no known surface headwaters.
- RESURGENCE – point at which an underground stream reaches the surface and becomes a surface stream.
In European litereature, the term is reserved for the reemergence of a stream that has earlier sunk upstream.
1- bedrock , 2- glacial or fluvioglacial sediments, 3-glacier, 4- waterfall, 5- glacial stream
