Talik er ufrosset jord i et permafrost område. Talik kan have forskellige oprindelser – de kan forblive ufrosne på grund af varmeopbevaringseffekten af overfladevand, mineraliseret grundvand, der strømmer gennem talik mv.
Talik er betydelige vandkilder til lokalsamfund.
