Growler
En «growler» er et middels stort stykke is som bryter av fra en isbre (denne prosessen kalles isbrekalving), et isfjell eller iskapper. Det flyter i åpent vann, og kan være et hinder for små båter. Det er mindre enn 1 meter høyt over havet, og mindre enn 5 meter langt.
