Korona er et optisk meteorologisk fenomen som oppstår når lys fra sol og måne brytes gjennom vann i diffus tåke eller tynne skyer. Det ses som en lysende ring rundt solen eller månen. Ringen har ofte en blå nyanse på innsiden og en rød nyanse på utsiden.
