MIMOSA
MIMOSA (из французского: Modélisation Isentrope du Transport mezo-échelle de l’Ozon Stratosphérique par Advection) это модель адвекции высокого разрешения потенциальной завихренности (PV). Она разработана организацией Service d’Aéronomie в рамках финансируемого ЕС проекта METRO (MEridional TRansport of Ozone in the lower stratosphere).
Модель MIMOSA наблюдает за перемещением и динамикой воздушных масс в стратосфере, анализируя их изменчивость. Воздушные массы в стратосфере не смешиваются с массами воздуха выше или ниже этого слоя. Поэтому MIMOSA может следить за изменчивостью этих масс каждые несколько дней.
