Tussmørke er tidsperioden mellom solnedgang og natt, samt mellom natt og soloppgang. I tussmørke er solen under horisonten, men vi kan likevel se at den lyser opp atmosfæren.
Det er tre typer tussmørke, bestemt av hvor langt solen ligger under horisonten:
