Talik er ófrosin jörð á sífrerasvæði. Jörðin getur verið ófrosin vegna ýmissa ástæðna eins og til dæmis vegna áhrifa af hitaleiðni út frá yfirborðsvatni eða vegna þess að steinefnaríkt grunnvatn flæðir í gegnum hana og svo frv.
Talik er mikilvæg uppspretta vatns fyrir samfélögin á þessum svæðum.
