Naledies

Los naledies (glaseados) son masas de agua congelada, desarrolladas en forma de capas de hielo en columna como resultado de la consolidación de sucesivos flujos de agua subterránea o superficial en la estación fría del año en los campos de los glaciares. La extensión del área de naledies depende de la cantidad de agua que migre en la cubierta de nieve asociada.

Su espesor aumenta por la absorción capilar de la capa de nieve.
