Κλίμα τούνδρας
Το κλίμα τούνδρας είναι ο ένας από τους δύο υποτύπους του πολικού κλίματος, όπου η μέση θερμοκρασία τουλάχιστον ενός μηνός παρουσιάζει θερμοκρασίες ικανές να λιώσουν το χιόνι (>0°C). Παρατηρείται κυρίως κατά μήκος των ακτών του Αρκτικού Ωκεανού και χαρακτηρίζεται από μέσες ετήσιες θερμοκρασίες κάτω του μηδενός (sub-freezing), μεγάλο εύρος ετήσιων θερμοκρασιών και μετρίως χαμηλές κατακρημνίσεις (precipitation).
