Alveole
En alveolar er en lungestruktur, som hjælper os med at trække vejret. Det ligner en ballon og er hul indvendig. Vores lunger har millioner af disse alveoler. De udgør den ene ende af åndedrætsværn vores, og hvor oxygen transporteres fra luften til vores blod-system (og senere, ved hvilken carbondioxid frigives fra blodet ind i luft).
