Chokurdakh videnskabelige Tundra station

Stationen ejes af Instituttet for Biologiske Problemer i Cryolithozone (Sibirisk Gren af Det Russiske Videnskabsakademi). Det ligger i Kytalyk Wildlife Reserve, der ligger på nordsiden af Berelekh-floden i det nordøstlige Yakutia i Den Russiske Føderation. Den nærmeste by er Chokurdakh.

Stationen blev etableret i 2001 af den sibiriske Branch af det russiske videnskabsakademi og Vrije Universitet i Amsterdam med økonomisk støtte fra regeringen i Holland og med tilladelse og hjælp fra Ministeriet for Naturbeskyttelse i Republikken Yakutia.

Den tværfaglige forskning fokuserer primært på undersøgelser af miljøforholdene og permafrostøkosystemernes rolle i klimaforandringerne.
