Tsunami
En tsunami er en serie af bølger med ekstremt stor bølgelængde. Tsunami-bølger kaldes ofte flodbølger. De forårsages ofte af jordskælv, vulkanudbrud, sedimentskred på havbunden eller stort skred fra land. Meteoritnedslag kan også føre til tsunami.
Tsunamihændelser er sjældne og de kan føre til store ødelæggelser når de rammer en kyst.
