Academic writing
Academic writing is a particular style of formal language and is used in e.g. administrative-law, religious, artistic or journalistic writings. It is used by people associated with science in a broader meaning for texts such as abstracts, scientific papers or posters.
The features of academic writing are: terminology, impersonality, lack of emotions and expressing opinions, objectivity, logic as well as very importantly references to sources (citation).
