CEN Ward Hunt Island Research Station
A research station located on Ward Hunt Island, north of Ellsemere Island, at the northern tip of Canada in Quttinirpaaq national park. Due to extraordinary remoteness (the nearest human settlements are the military base Alert, 130 km, and the Inuit village Grise Fjord, 800 km) it is not inhabited and visits to the station require planning one year in advance.
