Nuit polaire nautique

La nuit polaire nautique se produit à des endroits où le centre géométrique du Soleil ne s’élève pas au-dessus de 12 degrés sous l’horizon pendant au moins 24 heures (il n’y a pas de crépuscule nautique pendant le solstice d’hiver). Autour du midi local, seul le crépuscule astronomique peut être expérimenté. Il se rencontre aux latitudes situées à 12 degrés au nord du cercle polaire arctique et à 12 degrés sous le cercle antarctique, ce qui le limite aux latitudes au nord de 78,56 ° N et au sud de 78,56 ° S.
