Crépuscule civil

Dans la matinée, le crépuscule civil se produit quand le centre géométrique du Soleil est de 6 degrés au-dessous de l’horizon et dure jusqu’au lever du soleil. Dans la soirée, le crépuscule commence avec le coucher du soleil et se termine lorsque le centre géométrique du Soleil est à 6 degrés au-dessous de l’horizon.

Pendant le crépuscule civil, seules les étoiles les plus brillantes ainsi que l’horizon et les objets terrestres sont visibles, donc d’habitude  il n’y a pas besoin d’éclairage artificiel.
