En topp-predator er en rovdyrart som står helt øverst i næringskjeden, og som selv ikke blir predatert av noen andre rovdyr. Mennesker er gjerne den eneste «rovdyr» trusselen for disse artene.
Isbjørn, krokodiller og løver er eksempler på topp-predatorer.
