Ледопад
Согласно классификации «Мировой каталог ледников», составленной организацией National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC), это продольный профиль ледника.
Ледопад является той частью ледника, которая, двигаясь вниз по крутому склону, перемещается быстрее, чем остальная масса льда.
В результате этих процессов поверхность ледопада сильно пересекается трещинами.
