Dielli mesnate
Dielli i mesnatës është kur dielli për 24 orë nuk fundoset poshtë horizontit. Kjo ndodh në rajonet polare për të gjitha ose pjesë të verës, varësisht nga sa afër jeni me polet. Periudha me diellin e mesnatës është më e gjata në shtyllat aktuale (veri dhe jug), ku dielli mund të shihet 24 orë në ditë për rreth 6 muaj (përveç nëse ka shumë re). Rajonet me diellin e mesnatës kanë në përputhje me rrethanat periudha të gjata me errësirën dimërore.
