Forvirringseffekten

En af de evolutionære teknikker, der anvendes af dyr. Der er typer af kollektive aktiviteter udført for at forvirre rovdyret og øge chancerne for overlevelse.

Et eksempel på forvirringseffekten er: pingviner som hopper ind i vandet eller små alkefugle, som slipper væk fra en stor gruppe bestående af aggressive gråmåger.
