Tungumál Inúíta tilheyra Eskimo-Aleut tungmálafjölskyldunni, sem töluð eru af frumbyggjum sem búa á Norðurslóðum og nágrenni þess. Þetta eru svæði á norðurslóðum sem tilheyra fjórum löndum: Kanada, Bandaríkjunum (Alaska), Rússlandi (Chukchi Peninsula) og Danmörku (Grænland). Inúíta tungumál eru meðal annarra: Inupiaq, Inuwialuktun, Inuktitut og Grænlenska.
