EGRIP feltstasjon
EGRIP feltstasjon er en 4 meter høy og flyttbar bygning. Den veier hele 47 tonn, men ble i 2015 likevel flyttet på ski nesten 500 km over den store iskappen på Grønland. Feltstasjonen drives av internasjonalt samarbeid, og forsker blant annet på hvordan smeltevann fra is vil bidra til havøkning. De tar også boreprøver av isbreen for å studere historiske klimatiske forhold.
