Høyerestående planter
Høyerestående planter, også kjent som karplanter, er en stor gruppe planter som har ledningsnett (litt som våre blodårer) for å flytte vann og næringsstoffer gjennom planten. Ledningsnettet gjør det mulig å utvikle seg til en større planter. Karplanter er litt forenklet sagt alle planter som kan «plantes», dvs. trær, busker, blomstrende urter, gress og bregner.
