- Gaforret e mbretit janë një superfamilje e krustaceve si gaforre që gjenden kryesisht në dete të ftohta.
- Për shkak të madhësisë së tyre dhe shijen e mishit të tyre, shumë specie janë kapur gjerësisht dhe shiten si ushqim, më të zakonshmet janë gaforrja e kuqe e mbretit.
Seriali televiziv “Kapja më vdekjeprurëse” është kryesisht për peshkatarët e mbretit të gaforreve në Detin Bering.
