Buryats
Sibiriske folk, der bor i den autonome republik Buryatia i det østlige Sibirien (en del af Fjernøsten-føderalområdet). Hovedstaden Buryatia er Ulan-Ude. Landet er et af de største centre for buddhismen i Rusland. I Sibirien er Buryats-køkkenet kendt og betragtes som en af de bedste. Modersmålet er Buryat, der tilhører den mongolske sproggruppe.
Antallet af Buryats, der bor i Den Russiske Føderations territorium i 2018, er 984 511 personer.
