Kajakk

Kajakk (qajaq på inuitspråk) er en lang og smal båt for 1-2 personer. Den ble oppfunnet for 4400 år siden i den gamle grønlandske inuitkulturen (urfolk). Kajakk ble laget av det inuittene hadde tilgjengelige av materialer, typisk drivved, hud, bein og sener. Den var opprinnelig et jaktutstyr (for fangst av sel og hval). Den dag i dag står den som symbol på Grønland.
