Pingo
En pingo er en kuppelformet eller langstrakt høyde som består av et lag jord som dekker en stor iskjerne. De forekommer i de fleste områder med permafrost, og skiller seg fra palsa ved at de er større og er dannet under et høyere hydrostatisk trykk. Pingoer kan bli opptil 70 meter høye.
