Yedoma
Yedoma – kompleks akull i pasur me karbon – është permafrost i moshës pleistocenike (formuar gjatë epokës së fundit të akullnajave) që përmban një sasi të konsiderueshme të materialit organik me përmbajtje akulli 50-90% në vëllim.
Yedoma mbulon rreth një milion kilometra katror përgjatë bregdetit prej 7000 km të shelfit Arktik Siberian Lindor.
Shkrirja e yedomës është një burim i rëndësishëm i metanit atmosferik dhe kontribuon në tërheqjen e bregdetit lindor të Siberisë dhe Alaskës.
