Lífbelti eða búsvæðabelti eru stór landssvæði sem hafa svipuð líffélög og ná yfir nokkuð samfelld svæði á Jörðinni. Svæðin hafa svipað veðurfar með svipað gróðurfar og dýralíf og því einkennast þau af gróðurfari svæðanna og heiti þeirra miðast við ríkjandi gróður. Helstu lífbelti jarðar eru freðmýri (túndra), barrskógar, laufskógar, regnskógar, gresjur og eyðimerkur.
