Buryatar / þjóðflokkur
Þjóðflokkur sem býr í sjálfstæða lýðveldinu Buryatia í Austur Síberíu (hluti af austasta svæði Rússlands). Höfuðborg Buryatia heitir Ulan-Ude. Landið er stærsta svæði búddisma í Rússlandi. Í Síberíu þá er matargerð Buryatia vel þekkt og álitin sú besta. Tungumál þeirra heitir Buryata og tilheyrir tungumálaflokki Mongóla.
Fjöldi Buryats sem býr í Rússlandi samkvæmt tölum frá árinu 2018 er 984.511.
