Efekt konfuzji
Jedna z technik ewolucyjnych stosowana przez zwierzęta. Polega na stadnym wykonaniu danej czynności w celu zmylenia drapieżnika i zwiększenia szans na przetrwanie.
Przykładami mogą być wskakiwanie pingwinów do wody w większym stadzie czy równoczesne poderwanie się do lotu alczyków na widok drapieżnej mewy bladej.
